Hah! I still maintain that I hold an unbeaten trimix depth record -
admittedly it was when the threads on my DIN valve cylinder wouldn't accept
the reg just prior to a dive at Shelly Beach. I rushed back to the shop,
told them my dilemma and was handed another tank. I analysed the O2, (about
23%), content and took off quickly back to the beach and completed the dive.
When I arrived back at the shop, Tricky was in a tizz. Apparently somebody
in the shop had misplaced his cylinder that he was using the folllowing day
for a trimix dive. I firmly maintain that it was the most expensive Shelly
Beach dive ever and a new (shallow) depth record for trimix! :-)
