Some people swear by them, some don't. I tested them for a local
publication when they first came out and wasn't much enamoured
although, seeing as it was an "advertorial" I couldn't be as
forthright as I usually tend to be. That was in the days, since fixed
I suspect, when having these on on an aluminium or marine ply deck
virtually guaranteed you an "A over T" happening. Yup, happened to me
and on both surfaces. That's no fun when you're already fully rigged
up, fortunately I wasn't carrying a camera either time when I would
have really spat the dummy.
Whenever I've seen them used by others, I emphasise "whenever", the
user looked like they were "bicycling" at the rev count of a Formula
One Grand Prix engine.
Sorry, I can't see the value in them.
