Fortunately, the 400 species count was not mine and it was fish only.  I
strongly suspect that it's considerably short of the number of fish found
here.  I have no idea about mollusks (sp?), echinoderms or coral although we
have quite a few of each.  Not having seen the GBR, I can't speak of
concentrations there which is all I referenced from my own experience.

So, since I spoke of concentrations and just to keep this going, the 400
species mentioned by the instructor are over a reef system about 25 miles
long.  How long is the GBR?
