We just ordered Halcyon rigs for our entire SAR team. I finally beat them all
down and convinced the upper management to turn loose some money. Since I
already had a few sets of the stuff, I did not order new, but I did get a
couple sets of their cam bands to replace mine. These are the best I have ever
used. Solid as rock and easy to lock. Stay locked once locked too. I always
keep at least one rig completely set up and ready to rock. With the old cam
bands, I noticed that over a period of several days without use they would
loosen up a bit. Time will tell about the Halcyon bands as the webbing gets
older but so far they stay locked and tite.
