If the space or situation allows, you might want to try this... Kneel beside
your tank (with backplate and harness in position on your tank). Put your
left knee against the wing and backplate for leverage, and pull on the tank
strap. It works for me every time. :-)

My Halcyon came with a Scubapro buckle, which I like very much. They changed
