Errr, ahhh, I recently picked up a Canon XT w/ 14mm and 500mm lenses, a cool laser tape measure, and have a terabyte of Raid 1 storage ordered for my home network...am I redeemed? :-)

7 mpix is great, allowing more cropping (greater distance to subject). However I have other issues with the camera beyond the resolution. I would like shorter turn on time, more control over focus, & RAW file output. In fact, from here on I will only buy cameras that support RAW file format.
