    No - I haven't come across a shop that will let you try fins before
buying. In fact, there are even some shops that don't have "fitting rooms"
in case you want to try out a wetsuit.
   One thing that I do when I look for gears is to find out which are the
local distributors of some brands and then go straight to them - the prices
are always the cheapest. I even wrote emails to some companies asking them
who their Singapore distributors are ...

The problem with S'pore is that different brands are stocked by different
shops, so you have to travel around to buy stuff. But the prices weren't
bad. I also found shopping for gear in M'sia also cheap (if they have it);
I
got my Aladin Pro a few years ago new for about half the price it was in
Australia. Are there any shop that will let you try before you buy
(especially fins)?
