Now, dammit, you guys are starting to piss ME off. This is getting
way out of hand. This is rapidly deteriorating into a mess where it
is Bob vs The World at Large. This is a far cry from where we came
from in our heydey at the turn of the century.

There was a time when "a lot" of us (a minority with respect to the
subscriber base) gathered together in a little island off of the Yucatan
peninsula and we lived, dived, dined, wined (and more) together for a
week at an event I think unequalled by any subsequent attempt (despite
my missing CAIV02, sorry).

The current slew of dredging the bottom for age-old gripes and bickering
has to stop! Don't make me turn into Nick on you and start moderating
posts. If you want to argue, take it offline.

Everyone here has something to contribute. And I'm sure everyone here
has some gripe they would like to vent, just don't do it here, and in
particular don't do it via a list posting (yes, Lee, Bob, Chuck, Mika,
et al). Let's not do any more bickering. Please.

Let's try to stay civilized. With a couple of keystrokes I can make
this list disappear, at least "the list". But that would accomplish
little in the grand scheme of things. So I plead for civility in this
mess of personal arguments. Summer is coming, and it's time to get
seriously back into diving, whether it's Roatan or Fiji or your backyard
pool, it's time to get wet (if the "down unders" will excuse my idea of
diving season).

C'mon guys... let's get back to diving. Argument gets you nowhere, if
you're underwater and out of air, or you spot someone in trouble, you
don't draw any lines in the sand. You do what you have to, or you do
what you can, with no questions asked. That is the kinship that we
share and should carry over to our "land locked" selves as well.

Now I've got to go... moving into a new house, and much to do, more
important than worrying about thhis list :-) I love you all, but
Castle Trumpetfish is occupying most of my time (and money) these days!

Take only memories
Leave only bubbles
