Bob,

I in no way wish to sound condescending but do make sure that your SCUBA 
equipment doesn't shout, long and hard: "expensive SCUBA stuff inside". 
That, in particular, applies to digital photo equipment.

Things like Pelican cases, as just one example, are ready indicators to 
baggage handlers, especially in places where SCUBA divers tend to 
gravitate to, for them to, errmmm, acquire stuff.

My favourite U/w photography list has recently had an ongoing thread on 
this subject, with special emphasis on San Juan airport. I know, that's 
not Dominica, but nevertheless.
