Angelo,

I'll leave the other stuff to the experts, however with the mask
fogging, I can help.

Grab you mask and a couple of blobs of regular white toothpaste
and have a seat for about 20 minutes. Work the toothpaste into
the inside of the lenses. Work it around with you fingers
getting right into the corners and the edges. Keep working it
in. Don't worry, you won't scratch your lenses.
The mild abrasive in the toothpaste is just gritty enough to get
off that thin coating the lenses pick up during manufacture and
storage. Its this coating that causes the lenses to fog.

Now...go rinse the lenses and mask with plenty of fresh water.
The way to a fog free mask to to make sure the lenses are
completely clean.

All you should ever need now, prior to a dive, is just good old
fashioned spit. Forget the anti-fog solutions. Spit in the mask
and spread it around with you fingers. Make sure you spread some
in the corners and the edges. A quick swish with the sea water
and you should now be fog free.

I can't recall anyone who this method has not worked for.

Cheers
Birdo
