I"m not an open heel fin fan.  They're not as efficient as the full foot
models and, as a warm water diver, I don't have to worry about thermal
protection, or carry around fubber shoes to wear with my fins.  I remember
hearing one of my diving buddies mention he uses the Master Frogs and I'm
sure he uses spring straps.  I'll try to find out and, if they are, see if I
can find out where you can get them.  If you don't hear back soon, please
remind me.  I'm up to my eyeballs in alligators and the swam isn't getting
any shallower.
