David, with all due respect.. I do not mean to degrade this forum to its
previous levels... as for the last 3+ months it has been entertaining
and rarely adversarial in it's content... infact today , since God
himself has returned there have been more off topic posts than in the
entire last 3+ months...
First, I am a diver of some experience... As such, I monitor this list
for information on diving as well as the near topic entertainment...
Second, there is no underground Clique...and if there were and the
behaviour was as posted... it would NOT be WORSE than those (he) that we
(I) have complained about... Yes, this is a list about diving and as
long as it stay as such, I will not voice my oppositions, but when it
turns into a Feesh Feed , I have and will continue to do so...
Can you say that for the last 90+ days that the list has not been on
topic without the holier than thou attitudes that prevailed prior and
have suddenly (on que) popped up today ???
this has nothing to do with finances, but trust me if I was a rich man
and could continue to shut down the gruel , I would...

I have a kind ??? Educate me... surely this had little to do with Bob's
absence and it was very mild and only recently if I recall...and surely
not the first light sparring you have dealt with in the list...
There are no RIGHTS on this list.. no one has earned anything... the
information is good for the most part.. the sparing is lighthearted for
the most part... and most of the few posting know each other, so
understand ... As I am sure you do as well...
You may have your few that you do not like to hear from, especially when
they get a little overboard, but 'a little overboard' is normally the
limit of what I have seen... surely nothing overt nor direct in
attack...

This list IS about sharing experiences and that is why I would do it
again to see the lack of animosity and overt and covert attacks and
responses as we did prior to July of this year... Look back through the
ARchives for 3+ months and tell me how often the sharing turned into
fighting versus the first 3 months of this year... Simple answer-- one
hell of a lot less and virtually non-existent....

What YOU tolerate is not an issue- Lee has good and bad points as well
all do... He dives, he posts, he bitches... only dif is I dive, I bitch,
but limited posts... Same people in respect...as I suspect you are as
well...
No Crap- I am a diver and relish hearing of tales from you all.. I dont
seem to have nearly the exciting past or present experiences.. so I do
not post them...although I do enjoy getting under with the jellies,
nudes, and kelp out here... it is certainly a macro dive home land on
the mid west coast of California...

With respect the my financial situation-- I say again- I have not Trown
anything away... simple.. I could either unsubscribe or do this and I
chose this and feel fine for it...as I gained some valuable information
that an unsubscibe would have defeated...I use the delete often when in
a rush and cannot read, but this is only works on my browser after the
mail is on the screen and in some situations..it is too late to hit the
delete...

Off line would have no purpose as there are no goblins or ogres to
chase...
and you MUST admit...the list HAS been more on topic in the last
3+months than for a long time before...
We can only hope that it continues as a diving list and not a personal
arena for the self exhalted Feesh...Your freindship aside....

Now about diving... ever done the Left Coast of America ? Some of the
best 45F to 51 F diving in the world !!! And you have a likelihood of
having your dive interrupted by a Sealion nipping at your fins...or Mr
Grey just beyond the vis... It is a world of the macro with colors and
life beyond what one will find in Florida, Hawaii and many other
locations... although cannot compare with the awesome wide angle or
macro of the Philippines, nor the GBR...

Have a good one.. No disrespect... and no regrets...
