I think Jeff must have turned the listserv
archive link off to see how long I can stand not
knowing what's going on in SE. The answer is,
"About 3 days", and I've yielded to turning on my
short-lined Yahoo MAIL. ;-)

I wonder if she really meant to use "definately"
according to Jeff's definition. :-)

Me too, in Jeff's sense of "definate".

Would be good to see you and Huw again, Kat, to have
a London NEDfest reunion! In addition, there would
be a Kat and a Kiwi this time ... meeeow. :-))

Strike, Bjorn, and I had bantered about a LL NEDfest
for this year ... which fizzled out mostly from too
short a planning horizon on my part, as well as a
temporary jam in Strike's money-printing press, I
think.

I am interested in ANY Nedfest, anywhere ... for now.

On the plus side, 2004 is a long enough planning
horizon for Sue and me to work Singapore and LL into
a Hong Kong and Beijing trip.

On the minus side, by 2004 I may be well into my next
life (as in Cat's 9 lives) and it may be too old for
THIS Old Fart to keep diving by then, not to mention
the possibility of having already kicked the bucket,
with or without the help of the flying terrorists
about
whom I've been searched and frisked so many times in
airports that I am beginning to enjoy the frisking
by a security officer of the opposite sex. ;-)

Putting all of that together, a "definate probable"
is about right for us.

-- Bob.
