Good question.  My answer is, "I don't know."

Congratulations, Brad.  You have asked TWO questions both of which
are properly answered by me as, "I don't know."   :-)


But I DO know that one of the common words for divers to misspell is
the word "algorithm".  One mnemonic device is to remember no "y" and
it shares the same anal fin with "logarithm".  Furthermore, "algo"
is a permutation of "loga".  :-)
