I have the first wetsuit I purchased (1972) hanging in the dive shop (that
pays me to stand around lokking pretty). The instructors like to point out
that suit and mention it was my first, the looks of disbelief on the
students faces is sad to see. I tell them I was an anexoric<sp> child.
I think they keep me at the shop as an example to prospective students,
"See that fat old bastard over there, if he can dive anyone can" <sigh> I
think it is pure jealousy.
Went on a boat dive yesterday, dove the Dalco Wall & the KVI Tower. The
water temp was 48F at 75fsw.
Bob,
It should be up to at least 51F by August<g>. Maybe we can get Shep, Wayne
& Rita together to swap some lies, if not dive. Vancouver would be easier
for Wayne & Rita. Amtrak rus a train from Seattle to Vancouver that I've
been meaning to try.
I'm diving in Nanaimo (Vancouver Island) in July & the Sechelt Inlet (North
of Vancouver) in September.
Lately all my diving seems to be helping out with classes or shop dives.
This Summer I plan on getting more fun dives in. I even cut back to only
one weekend a month at the dive shop. Unfortunately my S.O. seemed to think
that meant I was  going to spend more time at home, with her & the
daughter, womwn! A couple of days ago she asked when we could do somehing
together, I checked my calendar & told her I had a free weekend or 2 in
August, but she'd have to book early if she didn't want to lose it. For
some reason this upset her, women!
