I agree 100% it is better.  Haven't tried it as a half-tab though.
Isn't the recommended dosage 2 tabs for adults?  Also not sure about
the 24 hours unless they have a time-release version.  But I must
confess some ignorance, I haven't used anything in awhile as I have
not done a liveaboard, but have hit it before for some trips of long
distance and rough chop ('long' in my vocabulary being 20+ miles
offshore) and I'm usually fine on deck.  On a liveaboard in a berth
my tune would probably change, and I'd break my record for not yet
feeding the fish over the aft railing :-)
