FWIW, I watched all summer as construciton progressed with more and more
trepidation.  The golf course is also open at USD 150 for 9 holes and
another golf course is planned.  I am still concerned about the dark fiber
that was laid under the new road to Punta Sur.  You dont spend that much
money on infrastructure if you dont intend to use it and I saw enough fiber
to run a major data center.  I fear they are going to turn Cozumel into
Cancun or (even worse) Grand Cayman.
