Sharing the same problem (full foot fins and the same dive sites or very
close since it is the same island) the solution I use is to wear a pair of
sandals.  Then I have choices.

Leave them on shore where they may disappear

Stuff them in a pocket

Put them on a leash

Options 2 and 3 are the ones I use.
