It that a pointless NIT of yours or are you correcting the amount for
the FEE of what I reported what the captain of the boat said?

I said the captain said it's now $3 per PERSON. It may well be the
$3 per DIVER is to be collected FROM the boat driver (and not from
individual divers). Regardless of who collects or hands the money
over to the beach collector, I understood it from Lalo to mean $3
per DIVER (as I so reported),

Even if the money is collected from the boat DRIVER, it doesn't come
out of the pocket of the boat DRIVER, but from the DIVE SHOP (which
either absorbs the cost of the fee, or include the fee in the cost
of the two-tank dive).

For example, the Park Fee (of $2 per day), supposed to be raised to
$5 per day, PER DIVER, used to be collected by the DIVE SHOP (as
was in the Coz99NEDfest) from each diver.

Since then the Park Fee still EXISTS, but divers are no longer aware
of said fee, nor is it collected from them (on top of the cost of
a two-tank dive).

* There is now a charge of $3 per PERSON (he did not state whether
the head count included the DM and captain), to stop at the Playa
del Sol, from a dive boat.

If that info is wrong, please correct it, and cite your source.
Specifically:

1. Is the $3 figure WRONG? If so, what is it?

2. The FEE per BOAT as your statement seem to IMPLY (regardless of
the number of DIVERS) would be negligible for a 6-pak boat or
cattleboat, compared to a boat with 1 or 2 divers.

3. It would also be ridiculously low for an admission of $10 per
PERSON (used to be $5 per person in December 2000) from land,
and less than $3 per person from the boat.

The above are explicit questions to help you CLARIFY your point:

Chuck who whines about being called a "smart ass" when he acted as one,
show his true colors in name calling and cheap shots!
