And that is a sad commentary.  As we were pulling back into the caleta, I
pointed off to the north at Paraiso where there were about 200 or so snorkel
clad heads bobbing around in the water while a Mexican DM shouted
instructions from the boat.  Pasqual just shrugged and said something
deprecating about tourists and cruise ships.

Two items of note I left out:

1) the Mexican Navy is continuing its efforts to train trigger fish to guard
the reef from invading Aussies.  They are in abundant numbers and audacious
in approaching.  Beware Strike!  They are hunting you.

2) A first for me in Coz was a non-nurse type shark. Too far away to make
out but did not look like (from the siloouhette) like a CRS.

Help preserve the reefs of Cozumel. Sink a cruise ship today (preferably in
the sand somewhere so it can become a new reef.)
