I have only had a chance to do one real dive (60 ft.) with this reg, so take that into account when you read what I am about to say.

Bottom line, this reg is probably the easiest breathing reg I have ever tried. My previous regulator was an oceanic delta 2 with thier balanced piston 1st stage. The delta is a dog compared to the g500!
Pros:
1. Easy breathing, same at 0' as it is at 60', probably just as consistent below this depth
2. Comfortable
3. Dry in all positions
4. Adjustments allow a large degree of customization
5. Breaths the same in all positions (as near as I can tell)

Cons:
1. Boost effect takes a little getting used to (Basically as you breath, you can feel the air flow being boosted in a step like fashion so it actually gets easier to breath the more you breath). It almost feels like a switch is being thrown and all of a sudden it just gets easier instead of a gradual increase.
2. Can free flow when you put it in the water, it is not bad, but it happens more than it did with the delta

All I have to say for the cons is "Big Deal", this regulator rocks and the pros far outweight the cons. I want to take this reg down a little farther (130), but I have to wait until Cynthia gets her advanced and a few more dives under her belt.
