Thanks Strike for the good wishes and the insight.

My concern here was not for my immediate families ripping out my teeth or
strangling me with my own jewelry, but from some Foster's-logged (unknown to
me ) diver in an OOA situation, grabbing for me or my wife or son.  It has
never happened...but it certainly could and I would like to "rig my kit" in
such a way as to make it almost a no brainer for the no brainer about to do
bodily harm to me or someone I love.
