As Michael Levy pointed out, Mike was doing the 1:1 ratio, the same way we
do it here in Israel.

Well, I'll confess. We never tell someone that diving is not for him,
after an intro dive. We suggest that they should acquire some snorkelling
skills before trying a scuba course.
If someone is a "never-ever", we just tell him/her that they should be able
to snorkel comfortably, clear their mask under water and equalize, while
free diving to at least 3 mertes. This keeps them away. If they can
acquire these skills, they are not "never-ever's" anymore :-)

No it's not. According to Nick's new book of rules, you can say whatever
you like to someone who is not a member of the list :-)
