Clearly comments on Hogarthian configurations by a gentleman of the sport.
JJ has always been the group's best ambassador, at least until Andrew came
along.  Without looking very hard, you can also find places where JJ has
been quite specific that there is only one DIR, setting a pretty clear line
between DIR and Hogarthian.  If the copyright goes though, I suspect there
will be a shift in just what DIR means.  Commercial interest tends to
moderate one's committment to a single product line.  8^)
