I've been reading the various posts on safety sausages with interest, and
now I have a question..

When I think of a safety sausage, I think of a device that I would normally
only use in an emergency, such as if I became the diver that got left. In
fact, right now, I don't even own anything of the sort... Although 75% of my
diving is inland.. so no boat. (I'm thinking about getting the Fire Diving
Specialty card next :-) For me, such a problem is not often possible.

It seems though, from reading some of the posts, that at least some of you
use it on a regular basis. Has this become common practice?
