In general, I tend to agree.  Still, you're post made me think about
questions I consider less than sterling when asked of others, particularly
in a forum like ours.  Here's a few right off the top of my head.
1. I'm pregnant, should I dive?
2. My doctor says I have a xxxxxx and should not dive.  Is it OK to dive
anyway?
3. Am I ready to do solo/deep/decompression/nitrox/trimix diving?
The one thing these questions all seem to have in common is that the person
asking either knows or should know the answer before asking, IMHO.
