> My Visit With Jeff Today (3/5/02)

I have seen this thread for awhile, but have yet had a chance to tell my
experiences of Jeff... Maybe this will make it to him as well.

Even though we don't know Jeff in a face to face (yet), he's helped my wife
Vicky and me immensely.

It was through his list - scuba-se - that we were able to contact and meet
the most cool, supportive and fun people we encountered on our 6 month trip
down under. The world, and our trip, would've looked quite differently
without him.

In addition, I find that diving has become more enjoyable when you share it
with a like-minded international groups of NED's.

There are few people who will, care, listen or understand the stories and
joys of something like a manta in Yap, or the value of the preservation of
the Ningaloo Reef. This group does.

And what of trip planning and the news of the latest incidents that effect
us all.... again we look to his list.

Well, we all know the value of what Jeff has created - an open and honest
exchange of feelings and ideas - sometimes a bit too honest.

Perhaps in this horrible process, Jeff will have seen the golden light of
how to smooth the sometimes choppy seas of our electronic conversations. So,
Jeff we are expecting you back - soon - with epiphany. I mean, EPIPHANY!

Best of wishes. (I think the epiphany may be the hardest part of the
recovery.)

We are glad things are looking up.

Oh, and I was reminded of the movie Michael - about an angel.

"They were wrong, You can never have too much sugar."

Peace, Love and Health,

John and Vicky Hauer.

P.S. Thanks to Bob, too.
