Bake Sale- A way to make a BIG impact

UTC students are invited to participate in a statewide initiative to
lobby the Tennessee General Assembly for better funding for higher
education.

Next Wednesday, April 17, every higher education institution in the
state of Tennessee will be sending students to the steps of the
Capitol to host a giant "Bake Sale" in order to "raise money for
higher education." This is a great, easy way for you to get involved
and show your support for higher education and for the state to step
up and better fund the system.

We will be taking either vans or a bus, depending on how many people
are interested in going. Media from across the state will be there
covering the story as well as several hundred UT and TBR students.
We will be in Nashville from 10am until 2pm central. Lunch is
provided, as are the baked goods.

If you are interested, please contact Tiffany E. Smith at
[log in to unmask] or by phone 757-8393 no later than this
FRIDAY at 1pm.

Thank you
