You can still register for classes. Campus housing is still available
and you may still be eligible for some kinds of financial aid.

Some new classes are available to students this fall:
Dr. Roland Carter, UC Foundation Professor and Holmberg Chair of
American Music, will teach "Survey of African-American Music" (MUS
499-001, 3 credit hours) this fall. The course meets Tuesdays and
Thursdays, 3:00-4:15 p.m. Professor Carter is eminently qualified in
regard to the subject matter, widely recognized as a conductor,
arranger and researcher in the area of African-American spirituals.
EHLS will be offering a Martial Arts (EHLS 199-001) course for the Fall
Semester which is not listed along with all the other activity classes
(EHLS 000), in the schedule so many students will not know it is being
offered. The Martial Arts class will be taught by our Chinese Graduate
Assistant, Limei XU, who is also teaching Tai Chi (EHLS 056) and a self
defense course (EHLS 061). She is coming here from Suzhou University
and has very good English skills.
