Biological & Environmental Science databases available for trial access

The Library's Electronic Resource Committee is evaluating new databases
in support of the Biological and Environmental Sciences programs at UTC.

During the month of November 2004, the following databases (vendors
noted in parentheses) will be available on a trial basis to UTC
students, faculty and staff.

* Biological Abstracts (via SilverPlatter)
* Biological and Agricultural Index (via EBSCO)
* CSA Life Sciences Index (via CSA/Cambridge Scientific Abstracts)

To access any of these trials, please click over to
http://www.lib.utc.edu/news/2004/1103.html

During this trial period, the Library welcomes feedback about the
search interface, depth of coverage, and general usefulness of each
database from the perspective of students, faculty and staff. Feedback
web forms are accessible from each of the trial databases.

If you have any questions about this trial access, or about the
feedback process, please contact the Library's System Administrator by
e-mail at [log in to unmask] . Thank you!
