The UTC Honors Program and UTC Humanities Program welcome submissions
for the North Callahan Undergraduate Essay Prize, granted to the best

English, History, Music, Philosophy, Religion). The prize carries a
$1000 award. Essays must be at least 8 pages, not including bibliography
or notes; typed and double-spaced with standard margins. The entry must
be accompanied by a cover page indicating a title for the paper, the
name of the author, the postal and e-mail address of the author, and the
date of submission.

Send all submissions by March 25 to Dr. Bryan Hampton (English and
Humanities), 332 Holt Hall, or electronically to [log in to unmask] .
Essays will be judged by a panel of professors across the disciplines,
and the winner will be notified before Honors Day in April.
