It is time to make plans to help spread some holiday JOY!

The Student Alumni Council will be hosting their annual ANGEL TREE
program beginning Monday, November 10, 2008.  The UTC Student Alumni
Council works in conjunction with the Tennessee Department of Children's
Services to provide less fortunate children with holiday gifts. Last
year UTC brought in the largest amount of gifts for the largest amount
of children in our program's history. Let's see if we can beat it, while
at the same time helping children experience the celebration and joy of
the holiday season. 

Beginning November 10th, "Angel" cards can be picked up at the SAC Angel
Tree tables at the University Center (11am - 2pm) or stop by the Patten
House (8am-4pm). Make sure to decorate an ornament for each angel you
pick and help us decorate our Angel Tree. 

All presents are due back in the UTC Alumni Office on the 2nd floor of
the Patten House (brick mansion on the corner of Oak and Palmetto) no
later than Wednesday, December 3.  Please make sure to wrap each gift
individually and label each gift with the child's code number located on
their card (we recommend you write it on their wrapped gift in permanent
marker).
