Dear UTC students,

The Quality Enhancement Plan Planning Group invites you to participate
in defining student engagement at UTC as part of our SACS review for
2011. Many of you are familiar with the National Survey of Student
Engagement, a survey completed for the first time last year by our
students.  We have decided that the best first step in assessing our
engagement of students is to review and evaluate those criteria by
which we measure engagement.  Taking the National Survey as our
starting point, we are asking all faculty, staff and students to review
these measures for their applicability to UTC.  You will have the
opportunity to rate and comment upon each of the criterion.
