DON'T FORGET THAT THE CAMPUS COMPUTER NETWORK WILL BE DOWN TONIGHT!!!


The campus network will be down Friday (Feb. 8) starting at 6 pm
until 11 pm to completely replace the 5500 core switch that has been
giving us trouble. Some access may be available during this interval
for short times, but it is subject to repeated interruptions until we
have everything configured and tested.

This will affect all campus networks and computing services,
including: Internet access All campus web sites UTConline
(Blackboard) ASIS/Reflection, Online Registration, etc. (HP 3000)
Banner Virtua (Library catalog) EMS
(room reservations) Campus e-mail (cecasun, moccasun, gem, etc.) File
servers (SRV1, StuTec, ACAD, etc.) etc.

None of the above will be available during the network down time.
