AN EVENING OF SEXUAL AWARENESS

When: Wednesday, Feb. 20 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Where: UC Lobby and several rooms in the UC
What: Many events to focus on sexual health.
Cost to attend: FREE
Who's invited: EVERYONE!  Don't be shy about learning more about SEX,
abstinence and STDs.

Schedule of Events:
7-9 p.m: Many area agencies, including the March of Dimes, the Hamilton
County Health Department, Ministries of Love and Chattanooga CARES, will
have tables in the UC lobby to offer information and to answer questions.

FREE CONDOMS (lubricated, colored, fruit and mint-flavored) will be
distributed.

FREE and CONFIDENTIAL HIV testing will also be offered.  The results will
be kept private.  Bring your partner with you.

8 p.m.: KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Rosemary Ferguson, UNC-Charlotte
"BECOME A SEXUAL HEALTH INTELLECTUAL"
Think you already know everything there is to know about SEX?
Let Rosemary Ferguson teach you a few things this Wednesday at 8 p.m. in
the UC's Tennessee Room during her Sexual Awareness presentation.

Ferguson's fun yet informative presentation will focus on STDs, talking to
you partner about sex, condoms and many other sexual health topics.

Ferguson has a bachelor's degree in English from the University of North
Carolina at Wilmington and a Masters of Public Health degree from the
University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is also registered as a
Certified Health Education Specialist.  Ferguson has been a university
health educator for over five years with primary interests in sexual health
and nutrition.

There is no charge to attend this lecture.  This event is organized by UTC
senior Donari Copperidge and Student Development.
