November 4-10 is National French Week.
UTC will join hundreds of colleges and universities across the country in celebrating French culture, and we invite you to join us.
ALL EVENTS ARE FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

FRANCOVISION VIDEO CONTEST (Wednesday, November 6, The Granfalloon, 400 E. Main St., 7 p.m.).  UTC French students compete in a regional competition sponsored by the French American Chamber of Commerce.  Learn more about the regions of France and the countries of the Francophonie, and support the home team.  Allez les Mocs!  (If you need a lift, transportation will be provided from the Brock Hall steps at 6:45.)

3rd ANNUAL FRENCH FILM FESTIVAL (Friday, November 8, Brock 201, 5 and 7 pm)
Join us for a double-feature:
17 Girls (5 p.m.).  17 teenagers make a pregnancy pact in this dramedy based on real events that took place in Massachusetts in 2008.  In French with English subtitles.
Bag of Marbles (7 p.m.).  In this touching World War II drama, two young Jewish brothers escape Occupied France, then try to reunite with their family. In French with English subtitles.

CAFÉ & CONVERSATION (Monday, November 11, Rembrant's Coffee House, 204 High Street, Bluff View Arts District, 7 pm)  It's Language Night!  Relax at Rembrandt's with our French and Spanish students.   (If you need a lift, transportation will be provided from the Brock Hall steps at 6:45.)
