The CRESS GALLERY in the UTC Fine Arts Center is hosting " Ground Zero":

The CHATTANOOGA AFRICAN AMERICAN MUSEUM presents "Southern Reflections" with
Lee A. Ransaw's figurative oils on canvas from Friday through October 10th,
with the opening reception Thursday at 6:30 PM. Saturday enjoy a day filled
with great food, finds, and friends at Yo' Yard Sale hosted by the Museum

The Association of Visual Artists with the Hunter Museum of Art present the
15th Annual ARTstravaganza Exhibition from Tuesday through September 29th
with the opening reception and Juror lecture on Friday in the HUNTER MUSEUM
at 7 PM. Then Saturday the Association of Visual Artists, the Hunter Museum
and UTC will host a lecture by Robert Stackhouse entitled Creating Art for
Public Spaces, From an Artist's Perspective at 2 PM in the UTC FINE ARTS

212 MARKET is hosting a wine dinner on Friday at 6 PM featuring favorite
wines that will be poured on the bridge for the Wine Over Water festival on
September 28th. The cost is $60 per person with reservations required.

Hear the two-time Grammy Award winning Nashville Bluegrass Band as they take
the Cingular Wireless Stage in Miller Plaza this Friday during the Nightfall
Concert Series in downtown Chattanooga. Preceded by favorite local opening
act The Dismembered Tennesseeans at 7pm, The Nashville Bluegrass Band will
take the stage at 8 PM. Presented by the Chattanooga Downtown Partnership,
Nightfall is a free 17-week concert series held at MILLER PLAZA each Friday
night through September. This event is sponsored by Kelly Subaru, Fletcher
Bright Company, Miller Beers, Cingular Wireless, Allied Arts, Fox 61, WUTC
NPR/Music 88, Big River Grill and The Read House. Call 265-0771 for more

Hear Richard Smallwood, Donald Lawrence, Karen Clark-Sheard, Ted and Sheri,
Maurette Brown Clark and gospel singer Vanessa Williams in "The Alliance
Tour 2002" on Saturday in the MEMORIAL AUDITORIUM at 7:30 PM. All seats are

Visit CHATTANOOGA HOMEGROWN, an open-air market between Coolidge Park and
the Chattanooga Theater Center each Saturday from 8 until 11:30 AM, with
fresh produce, demonstrations by local chefs, and live music. Please call

Enjoy the Chattanooga Market each Sunday through December 22nd from Noon
until 6 PM in the CRICKET PAVILION. The Market features regional and local
artists, fresh regional produce and cut flowers. Appearing on the MARKET
STAGE this week is the popular local singer Jennifer Daniels beginning at
11:15, Jodi Manrosss follows at 1:30, then Beth Wood plays at 3:45. The
