The Financial Aid Office will have staff in the Lobby of the
University Center on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. to hand
out information and application materials for financial assistance
for Summer 2004, Fall 2004, and spring 2005.

Information will be available for the new Tennessee Lottery
Scholarships, as well as other state and federal financial aid.
Remember that freshmen who meet eligibility requirements can receive
the lottery scholarships beginning next fall.

Please remember that the priority deadline for summer aid application
is March 1st. The summer financial aid application will be available,
or students can obtain the application from the Financial Aid website
here:

http://www.utc.edu/~finaid/Summer_Aid.pdf

The deadline for continuing students to submit a Scholarship
Application (for other scholarships, NOT the Tennessee Lottery
Scholarships) is March 1, 2004. That application is available on the
Financial Aid website here:

http://www.utc.edu/~finaid/Scholarship_Appl.pdf

The priority deadline to have a complete financial aid file for Fall
2004 is April 1st. Students should file their 2004-05 Free
Application for
Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) now in order to have time to respond to
other requests for documents and submit them by April 1st.

The deadline for current freshmen to have a FAFSA processed for HOPE
scholarship consideration is May 1, 2004. Students should submit
their 2004-05 FAFSA's as soon as possible to avoid missing this
critical deadline.

The financial aid staff hopes you can come and talk with us while we
are in the university center, or in Hooper Hall Room 253.
