The Presidential Search Advisory Council will meet April 5 in the
Nashville Public Library to select 6 to 10 candidates to be
interviewed for the UT presidency. The Search Council will interview
these candidates on April 13-15 and recommend 4 to 6 finalists to the
Board of Trustees Search Committee. The Committee will meet April 20
for interviews and recommend no fewer than three candidates to the
full Board of Trustees. The Board will conduct interviews on April 21.

The April 13-15, April 20, and April 21 meetings will be held on the
Knoxville campus. In addition, you may participate in the April 13-15
interviews by teleconference at campus sites in Chattanooga, Martin,
Memphis, Tullahoma and Knoxville. All meetings are open to the public.

All of these meetings will be webcast live. You will need a high
speed internet connection to view them.

The UT Office of Information Technology has posted instructions for
ensuring that your computers have the software needed for the best
quality view of the Presidential Search events. OIT recommends that
you install or upgrade the software before the day of the webcasts.
You'll find the instructions at
http://oit.utk.edu/dst/realdownload.html

The April 5 meeting starts at 8:30 a.m. CDT and 9:30 a.m. EDT. Other
webcast times will be posted before the events at
http://oit.utk.edu/dst/webevents.html

For a complete timeline and other important information about the
search process, go to the UT Presidential Search Web site at

We hope you will be able to participate in these important events
leading to the selection of our new President.
