Hello -

As you know, UTC has been funded for a new library building! As the
planning process begins, we are hoping to get as much input as possible
from students, faculty and staff. The new library is a UTC campus
resource and to do the best job for our community we need to hear about
your needs and your desires.

Open meetings will be held on:
     Monday, November 26, 2007 at 10:00 am in Library 208
     Thursday, November 29, 2007 at 2:00 pm in Library 208

Some topics of conversations at the open meeting will include:
timelines, information to date, current trends in library design, as
well as hearing from you about what you like about the current
building/space, what you don't like about the current building/space,
what you hope to see in a new library facility, etc. Lots of fun
possibilities.

Please try and join us if you can. 

But, don't despair if these dates don't work for you. Additional open
student, faculty, and staff meetings will be held in the Spring
semester. Or just drop me an email, [log in to unmask] or give a
call at 423-425-4506 and we can talk or arrange a time that is
convenient for you to discuss the project.
