because interex filed chapter 7, it makes getting a hold of any assets
impossible at the moment.  the magic question is -- what's an asset?
until that's determined, everything is muddy.

the board very much understands your concerns and agrees that we can't
afford to lose of any mpe 'documentation'.  i know several people
downloaded as much as they could from interex's computers before they
were taken offline.

if openmpe can possibly archive any of interex's information, we will
try.  in 'trying' there is certainly effort and expense -- both
creating challenges for a volunteer organization.  any help that the
community can provide will be welcome.        - d
