Out on our 3000 NewsWire blog, (where we reported the results with a
little commentary), we've just gotten this comment from Joe Dolliver.
He asks if the vote totals of the election can be released:
When officials are elected to positions, their vote totals are given as
public record. In light of the need for openness, I think the vote
totals should be given to all who are interested. I know who I voted
for and want to know who else voted for each candidate.
Is there any reason why this should be kept a secret?
Joe "concerned about openness" Dolliver
John, what's the board's view on the release of these details?
