Last night to 3000-L and the OpenMPE list I said:

In constucting the list I attached to that prior message,
I should have included three more items that are NOT on
the latest published SIGImage/SQL Ballot:

(1) While HP is encouraging sites that plan to continue
to run MPE to move to 7.5 as soon as possible, there will
probably be a significant percentage of sites that for
one reason or another will end up staying on 6.5; at
least for the foreseeable future. It is likely that an
IMAGE patch could be produced that would allow running
TurboIMAGE Version C.10.XX on a 6.5 system (keep in mind
it would have to allow for lack of MPE "Large Files" on
6.5). Sooo...: Please add to my "What would your site
like to see if anything" list the following:

Produce a TurboIMAGE patch that would allow running
IMAGE version C.10.XX on MPE 6.5 (but no Large Files and
therefore no DDX on datasets > 4GB).

(2) In light of the 2001-11-14 EOL / EOS announcement by
HP, are there any NEW enhancement requests that are not
covered in the existing ballot list; especially items
that might facilitate migration ??

(3) At the HPW-LA SIGImage/SQL meeting attendees voted
to include Eloquence (formerly HP Eloquence but now just
Eloquence since Marxmeier Software AG got it back). See
http://www.msede.com/ and
http://www.hp-eloquence.com/
If users have Eloquence enhancement requests that are not
already in the pipeline by Marxmeier Software, please do
not hesitate to mention those too...
