I posted the following message on HP3000-L and realized that it was originally posted on this list. Sorry for the duplication.

A week or so back, Tracy Pierce was complaining about:
"...BTW I'm also an Interex member, which actually costs money. Other than
getting me a better entry price for the Solutions Symposium and HPWorld, at which there actually ARE at least a few HP3000-relevant
presentations, it's pretty hard to justify, as we (the GGBHTD) thus I don't stand to benefit from anything positive about Interex,
specifically the SIG-to-HP relationships.
Tracy Pierce"

I looked at the agenda for the upcoming Solutions Symposium in Valley Forge later this month and in San Jose next month. I should
say there are a few "HP3000-relevant presentations," in fact, there are a lot. All of the agenda is dedicated to the HP e3000.
There is information there for people who are considering migrating or are in the process of migrating and there is also a lot of
information for the folks who are homesteading, especially on how to set up for the long term.

Here is a list of the speakers who will be there.

>From HP:
Dave Wilde
Alvina Nishimoto
Jeff Vance
Jeff Bandle
Kevin Cooper
Mark Bixby
Marty Poniatowski
Ross McDonald

And here is a list of the non-HP speaker
Alan Yeo
Birket Foster
Chuck Edgin
David Thatcher
Dirk Steyaert
Donna Faudree
Duane Percox
Gunnar Fredlund
Ira Baxter
Jeanette Nutsford
Jeff Kubler
John Middleveen
John Murphy
Joy Crenshaw
John Paolello
Jon Backus
Ken Robertson
Lee Tsai
Les Johnson
Michael Dixon
Michael Marxmeir
Nick Fortin
Paul Edwards
Rich Trapp
Scott Pierson
Sven Akkermans
Wm. Matthew Street

Look at that list and tell me again there is no HP e3000 content here. These people will be covering all future options for the HP
3000 users. If you want to find out more, I would suggest you go to www.interex.org. Certainly if Interex has missed something,
you still have time to tell them.
