So....you're wanting to 'stick it' to the folks in HP...the same ones
you might need to hire to achieve you plans.... Yeah, that'll work---NOT.
Many of the folks that have done key parts of MPE also work in other
divisions or have retired. And lets not overlook trade secrets,
intellectual property laws, etc., plus the fact that some of these
licenses, etc, are owned by companies outside of HP...
Certainly not a good idea, in terms of winning friends. And the legal
costs could be so staggering that you'd have little funding left to
pay the expensive engineers resources/etc. needed to build/maintain,
not to mention the hundreds of work years involved in debugging/stabilizing
the software environment. How long do you think business environments
are willing to wait/fund this approach?
