To me, an American job is the kind of job that when you are outsourced you
are added to the weekly unemployment numbers.

This is the kind of attitude that is destroying America and its economy.
Just what would be your definition of an 'American Job"? One that is India?
And yes, I would have the same attitude if this was a request from an
outsourcing group in any country.

I was just outsourced along with 12 other people, most of which were over 50
years old. All of these jobs went to India. These were American jobs that
will never be recovered. When you read about the monthly unemployment and
the number of jobs that are lost, these are included. Jobs that this
country will never see again. The company that I worked for had no offices
in the India, so what would make that an Indian company?????

I wonder what your chances would be of getting a good paying job in
India????? Non existent, for sure. I doubt that they hire Americans to do
Indian jobs.

What makes a job an American job?

Would you have the same response if the request came from a Canadian
company?
