O.K...: I stand correctly corrected at least on that
one above detail... However, it was and is still my
understanding that there are a significant number of
other "POSIX-isms" that have been intertwined down in
the guts of MPE over the last half-a-dozen years or so;
beyond HFS. Details and extent of said intertwining
are clearly beyond my area of expertise; will have to
depend on others more knowledgeable than I am in that
area to support my current disagreement with Wirt...
All I can say is that I have been lead to believe that
"significant intertwining" is not an exaggeration...
I stand ready to be further corrected if that is
appropriate...
