At this point, it is a bit lower on the priority list than some
others would like. But, IMHO, there are first things first, such
as licensing. Without the proper licensing, all other things
are moot. And, speaking as a board member of OpenMPE,
I sincerely think we have made constructive progress in
that direction.

Let me also say that I personally want access to the source
as well, so that task will not drop out of site as long as I'm
involved. I have had my hands in it and know how complex
it is and how complex the build and test process is and can
fully understand a lot of concern in that area about whether or
not someone other than HP can maintain it/modify it. I also
believe that there is enough talent both in skills and numbers
to make it viable. I have already made contact with enough
people to make me think it is possible.

So, take heart .... while it may not be getting
all the attention right now that you'd like, it remains on the
agenda and will rise to the top at the appropriate time.

Regards,

M.
