I would tend to respectfully disagree with you stating that homesteaders are
in it for the short haul, rather they are homesteading for a much longer
period of time than just a few years.

The market that I see is for the company that homsteads a few years and then
moves to an Intel platform(including IPF). The migration cost would be
minimal for them and, hence, very attractive. I can see that a number of
small to medium sized companies would really like this alternative. I, like
Ken, want a laptop version. Disk space as a limit would be difficult as the
current PC drives are 80-200gb. User limit(2-3) would be the best. I wonder
how the DSPP developer/consultant program would be set up for this
environment?
