I could be wrong, but if I understand correctly, the $500 is just for the
license for MPE and does not include the price of the emulator. I'm not
sure how much the CHARON Vax/PDP emulators are but VMWare is $300 for a
workstation version and $3000 for a server. I have no idea what an MPE
emulator might cost.
